Yangon To Mrauk U

Mrauk U, last Rakhine kingdom is located in Rakhine state, Myanmar. In 1433, king Min Saw Mon established Mrauk U and traded with India, Persia, Arabia, Portugal and Dutch. The kings, ministers and peasants built many pagodas and temples around the Mrauk U. Most of Mrauk U temples were constructed of hewn stone bricks. The most famous temples in Mrauk U are Shite-thoung Temple, Htukkanthein Temple, Koe-thaung Temple and the five Mahn pagodas. Today Mrauk U is a major archaeological and tour destination place in Myanmar
